Meet The Team
Lane Fisher
In private practice since 1989, Lane Fisher currently represents more than 200 franchised brands in business transactions and complex franchise litigation. Fisher is serving in his second six-year term as a member of the Board of Directors of the International Franchise Association. Fisher is a frequent speaker at franchise conferences and has written extensively on many aspects of franchising. Fisher has been identified both as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer by Philadelphia Magazine and a Legal Eagle by Franchise Times for every consecutive year since 2004. Since 2010, Fisher has earned the distinction of “Awesome Attorney” in Suburban Life Magazine. FisherZucker was also designated a 2019 and 2020 “Best Suppliers” by Entrepreneur Magazine and awarded as the #1 franchise law firm servicing the Entrepreneur Franchise 500.
Brad Fishman
Brad Fishman is CEO of Fishman Public Relations, the premiere national agency specializing in PR and content marketing services for franchise brands. He also founded Franchise Elevator, a fast-growing specialty PR agency serving emerging franchise brands. On a global level, Mr. Fishman also operates Fishman Canada, a PR firm providing lead generation and consumer PR for franchise brands in Canada, as well as co-founding Rev PR, a leading franchise PR firm in the United Kingdom. Mr. Fishman has spent nearly 30 years helping hundreds of franchisors raise awareness of their brand among consumers and expand their franchise systems through lead generation PR and content marketing.
Mr. Fishman also sits on the board of directors of many franchise organizations and franchise suppliers including Franchise Payments Network and FranFund and previously served on the Board of Directors of FranChoice. He is the past chairman of the International Franchise Association’s Supplier Forum, a past member of the IFA’s board and executive board and serves on the IFA’s Membership Committee.
Zack Fishman
Zack Fishman is a life-long franchise geek who has been involved in the space since he could walk (literally). Ranging from franchise development to digital marketing to public relations, Zack has devoted his life and his young professional career to understanding the ins and outs of the space. Currently, Zack is the Director of Innovation for Fishman PR, the world’s foremost PR firm specializing in franchising. He runs business development efforts for Fishman PR/Franchise Elevator and helps to innovate the agency’s product offerings for Fishman PR & Franchise Elevator’s clients.
Ryan Hicks
Ryan’s passion for the franchise business model started with his first exposure at 8 years old. He has been a franchise supplier for almost a decade and is also a franchisee and franchisor. His knowledge in franchising combined with skills in sales, business development, b2b marketing, social media, podcasting, operational technology, recruiting, and uncanny ability to network and build relationships has helped all businesses he touches achieve explosive growth.
Upon graduating college he became a founding member of iConnect POS (now FranPOS) and grew the customer base to over 10,000 devices installed worldwide before exiting the business. Mr. Hicks consulted Solink Corporation on their go to market strategy in the franchise sector and helped gain significant distribution into major franchise brands, which helped the company raise over $20M in funding and become the market leader in their sector.
In 2018 Ryan joined Rallio as an equity partner and business development officer. The social media technology and services company experienced massive growth, landing on the Inc. 5000 in 2020 and getting named a top franchise marketing supplier by Entrepreneur Magazine 3 years in a row.
Ryan is the Founder and Executive Producer of Modrn Business Podcast, which has one of the largest franchise community audiences in the world— publishing over 215 episodes since January of 2018.
Amidst the COVID 19 pandemic, Mr. Hicks Co-Founded Safe From Spread Franchising after having been one of the first survivors of the virus in Texas. The brand has awarded 61 franchise territories in 11 states in just 8 months in its first year of franchising, and is focused on becoming the premier franchise brand in the sanitization and disinfecting category in the world.
